Procedure text is a type of text which contains the method or steps to do something. We usually find this type of text on food packaging, drugs, electronic items, food recipes, and others. The purpose of the procedure text is to explain the steps in carrying out a particular activity. There is an introductory statement or title that gives the aim or goal of the procedure, followed by a list of materials that will be needed to complete the procedure.
