Procedure text is a type of text which contains the method or steps to do something. We usually find this type of text on food packaging, drugs, electronic items, food recipes, and others. The purpose of the procedure text is to explain the steps in carrying out a particular activity. Procedure text structure In making a procedure text, there are structures that need to be considered, namely: Goal/aim (goal) Generally in procedure text, the purpose is already stated in the title or headline. For example: How to Make Simple Fried Rice. Materials We can use words such as materials, tools, or ingredients when mentioning what is needed to perform a procedure. If the procedure text is about food or drink, we usually call it "ingredients". Meanwhile, when it comes to equipment or the like, we can use "tools and materials".
